Johannesburg Organisation of Services to the Homeless

The Johannesburg Organisation of Services to the Homeless NPC is a registered Non-Profit Company. It was formally registered with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) on 11 December 2013. The registration number is 2013/230489/08. The social enterprise operates under its abbreviated name of JOSH.

 

JOSH was established in 2013 by Ms Mary Gillett-de Klerk, a social entrepreneur with social work qualifications and many years of experience, who has recently successfully completed the SECP (Social Entrepreneurship Certificate Programme) at GIBS (Gordon Institute of Business Science).

The registration as an NPO (Non-Profit Organisation) and a Section 18A organisation will in due course be sought in order to access further benefits.

The vision of JOSH is to create a sustainable, innovative solution to address the problem of homelessness in Johannesburg. JOSH is both creating and leading change in Johannesburg.
